Coming soon to a Brookline gym near you…. We hope :(

The 2019-20 Wrestling season is here! Through the Brookline Grapplers Booster Club and some generous parents our team will be wrestling on a new custom mat and we hoped under a super slick Mat Light.

Unfortunately we have faced many challenges trying to get the Mat light installed. The Brookline Recreation Department has been granted priority scheduling over Brookline HS teams. The Recreation Department has been allocated 80% of evening scheduling Brookline HS Gyms so we are not allowed to install the Mat Light in Tappan Gym as hoped. We are hoping that the Brookline HS Athletic Department and Administration will work with us to support our HS athletic teams to achieve this goal.

Stay tuned!

Since Coach Trevour Smith took over head coach the Warriors wrestling program has been on the rise. It was only 4 years ago that Brookline suffered a painful loss to Framingham 84-0. Ouch. This season the Warriors battled Framingham in a head to head dual meet to secure it's first ever Bay State Conference Championship. Brookline finished undefeated (9-0) in BSC matches.
